To get a Bachelor’s degree in Law (LLB) in India, you must:

Meet the eligibility criteria:

You must have completed your 10+2 or equivalent education with a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate. (See rules and regulations of Bar Council of India and concerning univerties)

Pass the entrance exam:

Many universities and colleges in India conduct entrance exams for admission to the graduation  program. The entrance exams may be state-level or national-level. Appear for personal interview in some cases.

Complete the Graduation program:

The program usually takes 3 or 5 years for completion. It is a full-time program that includes theoretical classes as well as practical training.

Law is a regular course. No distance Cources or Private cources for graduation or post graduation are condected in law.

Clear the All India Bar Examination (AIBE) conducted by the Bar Council of India.

After passing the AIBE, the candidate must enroll with the Bar Council of the state in which he/she intends to practice.
